Some men seem to have a hard time opening up to each other and being vulnerable if they are not gathered around something: an activity, for example. During the national lock-down in Denmark due to COVID-19, I instigated a series of online conversations with men about loneliness, about reaching out, forgo the stoicism and talk to each other about mens mental health. This lead me to observe sentences that can express active listening. These sentences formed the basis of short performance scores that acts as gestures to gather around, making space for positive and care-full conversations between men.
